Sip, paint, and bring the beauty of nature to life. Join mixed media artist Kiki Piper for a hands-on evening of creating your own layered artwork inspired by flowers and winged creatures — from butterflies to dragonflies. You’ll explore approachable techniques for blending paint, paper, and texture into a finished piece that’s uniquely yours. All skill levels welcome.
Unlike a typical paint-and-sip, this isn’t about copying an exact painting. You’ll learn how to:
Build layered backgrounds with color and texture
Create flowers and insects using bold, simple shapes
Add details and finishing touches using a variety of techniques and tools, including paint, markers, pencils, pens, pastels, and more.
You’ll leave with a completed piece of art, new mixed media skills you can use again, and a fun night’s worth of creativity.
