Light of Mine

In the quietude of twilight, the canvas comes alive with ethereal hues. A woman sits at the crossroads of shadow and illumination, her white dress billowing like a cloud against the inky backdrop. Her gaze is unwavering, drawn to the lantern’s glow—a beacon of hope in the obscurity.
The lantern seems to hold secrets—the flicker of a thousand whispered dreams. Its light spills forth, casting delicate tendrils across the woman’s face, illuminating her features. Her eyes, deep pools of introspection, mirror the flame’s dance.
The title, “Light of Mine,” resonates beyond paper and brushstroke. It echoes the timeless refrain of a spiritual hymn: “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.” Here, the light is both literal and metaphorical—an inner radiance that defies darkness. Perhaps it’s the plea to embrace our luminosity and kindle the flame within.
"Light of Mine" celebrates resilience, faith, and the quiet strength residing in us all - the embodiment of hope, a vessel for the eternal flame. It invites us to peer into our own lanterns—to acknowledge the sparks that ignite our souls. It whispers, “Illuminate your path, even when the night is darkest.” And so, we linger, caught between brushstrokes and lyrics, between art and spirit, seeking solace in the glow.
